Pond Dam Rebuild & Earthwork
This pond restoration project involved the reconstruction of an existing earthen pond dam that had deteriorated and required substantial earthwork to restore the pond area.

Our crew began by excavating and clearing the existing dam area to reach suitable material and prepare the site for reconstruction. Using excavators and dozers, the embankment was rebuilt and shaped in lifts, with the soil worked and compacted to establish the new dam profile.

As construction progressed, the pond side of the embankment was graded and shaped to create a consistent slope and restore the overall pond basin. The finished earthwork provides a rebuilt embankment while improving the shape, drainage, and usability of the surrounding area.

This project highlights the type of specialized excavation and grading work required on rural and foothill properties, where access, terrain, existing drainage, and large quantities of earth all have to be managed during construction.

Project Scope: Pond dam reconstruction, excavation, earthmoving, embankment construction, grading, compaction, slope shaping, land clearing, and site restoration.
